CG 12 bounce

Hey guys,
First off Happy Thanksgiving!

I am curious on how 3* of bounce on the CG 12 DSG 60* would be. I usually take a standard divot and don't dig too heavily but I have noticed with my Vokey having 10* when I open it up I tend to dig pretty good and I don't like it. I am planning on going to the CG 12 54/60* combo because I am not using my gap wedge at all it seems like and I would like something in between 52 and 56* since I can use that a little more than my gap wedge and would like to have a 60*.

Just curious on how the sole design on the CG 12 DSG and how it only has 3* of bounce. How will it affect me or help me I guess..

The standard CG12 line offers a 60.04 wedge. I was hitting balls at the range this time last year, and I started talking wedges to another guy.

He had the 60.04, and let me hit it. It was great for wintertime tight lies. Not sure how it would be out of fluffy greenside rough in June.

DSG supposedly reduces your margin of error on short shots; can't remember why.

      Tale of two swings.  Swing 1: Slightly outside takeaway (hands move outside of target line) only to allow trail elbow over collapsing at P4. Doesn't take much to overdo it for the trail elbow collapse to only further exaggerate. That's death. Swing 2: Hands stay slight in at takeaway for a much better trail elbow condition at P4. This is a hard sell from an instinct perspective. More focus on un-weighting and re-weighting of lead foot to unlock a bit more mobility of hips and torso. A major flaw that creeps up often is me swinging flat footed and becoming overly armsy-collapsy as a result. Got reminded of this the hard way during my 2nd round match for club net championship. Was cruising along 2up until I made the turn. Then lost the swing for next five holes. Andy was playing good enough to capitalize. By the time I regained my swing on 16th, it was too late. Even Andy was like "That was a gift". Obviously that stings because have played well enough lately. Should have closed him out of the game comfortably with a few holes to spare. Shoulda woulda coulda. Tough lesson. Damn. P.S. I know the swings look very similar but trust me there is a difference.
