There are "better" Titleist blades out there, but these older sets are relatively inexpensive and they set up similar. Interesting...I'll keep my eye out for a nice set of titleist blades. Not really dying for them right here right now but in time.

Strange question. What would the characteristics of these blades be? Would they be cast? What about the Vokey name would make them any better or more unique? The one trait people like most about Vokey wedges is their tear drop shape (based on Cleveland designs) and spin milled grooves. The latter would not be applicable to longer irons. I guess it would be cool (?) to some people that their irons said Bob Vokey on them...

What about a combo set? Would maybe venture into the 9i-sw. Titleist BV combo perhaps 5-8i Titleist AP's and the rest of the set could be 9i-sw Vokeys all the same finish. Anyone?
