very nice yes, but to be honest....
you can pick that putter up stock for $150 then add the paintfill for $8 and sharpie the heacdover for another $4
i really hate guys that paint these things up and ask a premium for them

go to the golfwrx BST and keep an eye out there
you can find some great deals there

just saw a 2.6 newport w custom orange and white paint sell for $150 shipped...on ebay they go for more than $250

Yeah I'm all about finding one cheap and turning it into a gem. I'm def not a "collector" and would game any scotty that fell into my hands. I take very good care of my current Del Mar, but I would kill to have a Napa in the bag. I would love to have the ability to change my Del Mar to the flat black tour finish, but don't want to ruin it trying. I'm always on the hunt to find one under $150 and trick it out. I have the buffer to clean it all up and repaint it....that is, unless its full of dings and needs to be restored.

I completely agree with you on not overpaying for a stock putter someone else tricked out.

My thoughts exactly. I have no problem pimping up one's putter, I have sent putters to the custom shop before. However, I customize for my personal preferences and then game the hell out of it.

I absolutely can't stand those "just back from the custom shop" sales on EBAY. Look, dude, I'm not going to pay $400 for YOUR customized putter: that doesn't make it worth more.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to buy it either, but there are a lot of people out there who will and if these sellers can get that kind of cash for them then I say they should go for it.

Not at $400, like I said. Look at the listings posted in this thread, the only ones with bids on them or in the $200s My remark was about the guys customizing a normal SC and then wanting Limited Edition prices for them.
