Well, as some of you may have seen, I tanked it on day 2 and didn't make the cut through final stage. Long story short, felt good, hit good shots, made some putts, but, had some dumb errors. Or more than some really.

This was a great experience for me, being my first time trying any sort of Q School. I feel I made a pretty strong showing. And being able to play with the guy that won (Artemio Murakami) for two days in the final stage and seeing that we really aren't that much different really helped.

So, now I sit here in Tokyo/Narita airport waiting out a few more hours before my connection back to LA. Back to the Golden State and Pepsi Tours and back to the teaching grind to pay for next year's trip to Thailand. I can't wait!

Thanks for everyone's support in following and commenting on my blog. Your encouraging words meant a lot.

Congratulations, Ben. I know you didn't make it through this time but you played some great golf from the sound of it and I think it's fair to say pretty much everyone here would love to even have a shot to play the final stage. I enjoyed following along and look forward to next year (you will blog again next year, won't you? )

Congratulations! I know that sounds weird, but you went out and tried your best and weren't afraid to fail. I know this may sound like a stupid thing to say but what's more important is what you do with your experience. I am sure you will bank the things you learned in Thailand and will comeback stronger and more confident. Good luck with the tours back here in the NA.
