Hi Manu. You say about a license? Is that some kind of golf license you have to have before you can play on a course?

yep, here in spain you need a golfing license from the spanish golf federation to play in most courses. Welcome to the forum penguin. Are you a good player...i could use advice on a new set of irons....im a high handicapper looking for tolerant irons.Any specific model you know of that are tolerant and lighter than my ancient wilsons?

That sound like an idea we could use in the UK!

I play off 12, so not what you would call 'good' exactly. I did post in your thread about irons, and recommended the Taylormade OS. I had a set to start me off and they were great. As forgiving and easy to use as anything you will find, and they should be at low prices now. I have no idea what the availability of golf gear is like in Spain so I don't want to suggest too many more options. Dave

    • Day 233 (22 Dec 24) - Very late afternoon session (after watching the PNC finish - much more entertaining than the Showdown) with the 50deg, hitting nippy low flighted chips.  Really focused on foot position and keeping swing smooth.   As light was fading fast and temps were heading south of freezing, session was pretty abbreviated.
    • Tiger’s walking at the PNC and people say he’s not limping.
    • I haven't heard much of anything about it. Faux leather, sure. Biodegradable leather? No. No idea. You're a bit too new, still, to post links.
    • Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
