I just found out the golf glove that I like is being discontinued. Sure I am new to the game but can still tell what feels good and these cheap gems from Lynx are great and will be missed. Bought the last 2 in my size the store had today. Now what?

Find a different one... The Snake Eyes Tour Premium gloves are nice and fairly inexpensive (3 for $25 if I remember correctly)... You could also try the Foot Joy WeatherSof about the same price for a three pack.

Just messing around, but try golf without a glove. You might be surprised.

That was going to be my suggestion. Buy some good soft fabric bandages (i.e. not the abrasive ones like Elastoplast makes - 3M used to be good one) and wean yourself off the glove. Then again I don't suffer from sweaty palms so my opinion is tainted.

Whenever I have a problem with a cut or something I just use a couple strips of athletic tape. If need be I use superglue on cuts to keep the skin closed.

My hands aren't sweaty either. I do get people questioning my choice of grips. I guess they think the New Decade Multicompound would be hard on my hands, but they aren't. Years of construction work had built up calluses. My hands have become very soft since changing careers to nursing, but still haven't had any issues with blisters.

The Srixon cabretta leather one is always either 2/$15 or $9.99 for one so I usually stick with those. Can't find a real leather glove for that price.

Waiting out the 2 feet of snow that just dropped on the course....

1/2 cord are a menace, but any full cord I've tried (including Softies, Tour Wraps, Crosslines, Multi-compounds, whatever) is easier on the hands than a deathgrip on a slippery non-corded grip.
