Just wanted to brag about my new Scotty Cameron California Monterrey.  It is one sweet putter.  My grandmother in law said I was a good boy, so she bought it for me.  Looking forward to getting the putting game back on track in 2011.

So I don't know if it's my punishment for not posting pics, or for bragging.  Either way, played the first round of the year yesterday and had 44 putts for a 93! .  First 9 was 5 3-putts, back 9 had three 4-putts.  They all happened exactly the same way:  leave it hole high, leave the putt short, run the second one by, make or miss the downhill coming back.  I started developing an acute form of confusion by the middle of the round.  The only birdies were from stiffing it to within inches.  The lesson learned here kids, is if you get a new putter for Christmas, don't brag.  If you do brag, make sure you get the loft adjusted first.

There have actually been 2 crimes committed that resulted in your poor putting:

1. Bragging about said new putter

2. Boasting about the ability to play actual golf while we're all snowed in
