In my current set I use a 58* wedge for Sand and Lobs, it has a bounce of 10* ....... the current wedge set up is 47*-52*-58* but in the new set (Cobra S2) which is delofted quite a bit the set's PW is 43 and the set's GW is 49.

As the set's 9i is 39* I could have the GW lofted to 47* and stick with the 52* - 58* or I could leave the set's GW at 49* and maybe bent the 58* to 56* ...... but as I am also using the 58* for bunkerplay ...... I kind of wonder what bending the 58* to 56* might do with the bounce as 10* bounce is perfect for bunkers, fairway and rough.

Please advise......

Bending the 58* wedge to 56* will decrease the bounce by the same amount, from 10* to 8*. The S2s are cast, aren't they, so bending the gap wedge may not be the best option?

Just asked Cobra, 2 degr. is no problem ....... So I might well be ending by bending the GW to 47* and stick with the Miz MPT-11 wedges ..... bacause by bending the 58/10 to 56/08 ...... it would loose some of its outstanding bunkershot possibillities.

It appears the 58.10 is your magic club. It delivers plenty of value as is, and lesser bounce might ruin what it does for you.

You might want to keep the 58.10 as your high-end anchor, and vary the wedges between your PW and the 58*. To find the "in betweens" you might want to hit shots with the new PW and GW as is, and compare them to the yardage of your MP 52* and 58*. Then, make adjustments according to yardage gaps. Different wedge models have different head designs and shaft lengths, so you need to do some "field testing" when mixing product lines to determine actual yardage gaps.

Or, you could return the Cobras and keep the MP57s - that current wedge setup of 47, 52, 58 sounds very efficient.
