I recently watched the S&T; videos and found it quite logical, in fact i was already having succes with a somewhat centered swing.

The one element that i found strange was the Flying Wegde. Why do you need to keep that stiff wierd arm after impact like a chip?

I recorded my swing before i started watching the S&T; video. The swing is in my garden and i have not hit a ball for 4 month, yet you can still see that after impact i flip my quite fast i think. I am going to record a decent video once the temperature gets to 5+

Why is it wrong to hit the ball at impact without changing the wrist angle but but still flip the wrist after impact?

info: the swing is recorded in slow motion

You want a flat left wrist at impact and a "flexed" right wrist (flying wedge). You want to keep the clubface square to the inclined plane longer for accuracy and consistency

Also, you need to slide your hips more to the left and "bank" your right foot before impact

Because you flip before impact (in your video). Look at it again...

A lot of the "long arms" after impact helps to get the ball high, helps to keep you swinging and turning on the circle, etc.

But the flying wedge alone is important because if you have it after impact, you definitely didn't flip. If you "lose it" shortly after impact, you probably lost it, truthfully, before impact.
