My Father past away recently and My mother and I are going through the difficult process of selling some of his things that we cant use. He was a certified Golfsmith for over 30 years and loved doing it. Over that time he aquired a warehouse full of clubs and equipment. I have no idea what most of this stuff is valued at so im coming to you for some much needed information. I have a few pictures of some of the things we would like to get rid of, and would like some advice on what the value may be. We will be selling the more high end golf clubs on ebay. We have many tour owned putters, at least 15 Scotty Cameron limited edition putters, including a GSS tour only putter (which ive seen on ebay for a couple thousand dollors) but I seriously doubt its worth that. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested , send me a message ,  Thank you , Coop

I'm sorry for your loss.  If I were you I'd try to find one of your fathers colleagues, competitors, or a local golf course pro and ask them to come over and help you take stock.

Thank you , He was an alll around great guy ! Ive been talking to some of his people but it doesnt seem to be going anywhere. The people ive talked to are either golfsmiths themselves or just players, and the two golfsmiths told me to get on as many forums as i can to get the word out to people who are wanting to get into the trade.

Go to GolfWRX.com and post. I'm sure they will help you find an honest person to help with your dilemma. There are many knowledgeable people and collectors there who I'd bet would be willing to help. I am truly sorry for your loss. My best to you and yours.

Thank you , Prayers are the reason we are getting through this difficult time. I dont know what we would do without the Lord. And Im doing my best to make sure my mother doesnt get taken advantage of. There are many shady people in the Buying and Selling world , and thats why im doing my research. Thanks again !    Coop

Coopdville,

Sorry for your loss.  Just went through this with my Dad who was a plumber.  Check with the golf schools or local courses for younger Golfsmith apprentices that are just getting into the business.  They are more likely to need the equipment and will buy used stuff.  It also is a bit gratifying to help out someone starting out in the business your Dad was in.

    • I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.

    • Hence your Avatar!😜 I drink a lot of water during the day if I’m playing or exercising. I get cramps otherwise.
    • If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.
    • This isn't some kind of natural fact. It's a lot more complicated than this implies.
