I would reaaly like to try & take a half dozen private one hour lessons. My question is, how do I decide who to get the lessons from? The pricing structure seems to be all over the place, from $300.00 to $600.00 for a set of 6.

Is there a rating/ranking system for teaching pros?

Is there someplace I can find reviews of teaching pros?

I don't mind spending the cash, I just want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth.

Thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately, no.

I recommend reading this , talking to a lot of people who have taken lessons from pros in your area, etc.
