I am looking for an instructor that teaches something easy and makes sense. This is a video that he submitted for the golf channel's instructor search and was wondering, based on this video, would he be a good instructor to go to. He is nearby and I only really need a couple lessons to understand what I need to work on. His website is www.jaylimgolf.com and here is the video he submitted:

Thanks for your advice!

I like what I see from the video.

In fact, in the 6 years of playing golf, I've always beated around the bush about taking lessons. I might just have to give him a try since he's close by.

Driver: Taylormade r7
Irons: Mizuno MX-200
Wedges: 60*8 & 56*14*
3,5 wood: r7
Putter: Odyssey white ice

(Completely unrelated to golf) but he competed in a season of top shot on the history channel for shooting. I guess he is a master in accuracy (both shooting and golf) lol

yea thats the guy on top shot... i dont know how he got on that show.  he was like, i just bought my first gun a year ago...really?

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Might be a great teacher but I kept waiting for him to start talking about the Moe Norman single axis swing with all the most efficient talk.

He demonstrates a noticeable plane shift but listening to the words it almost seems contrary to his beliefs.

I would assume so, it is just a one-plane swing that he is teaching. BTW, I just bought a swingyde to see if i can teach myself before anybody else teaches me. If it doesn't work, then I will return it and give this guy a call.
