You should join this guy’s course. You’d be club champ!

The only point I was trying to make is that if a larger hole would make that much difference in everyones scores it just reinforces how important short game is. I have had days when I was putting well the hole felt larger than normal. I have also had days where it seemed to be the same size as the ball. I dont know about most of you but mt course has an amazing chipping and putting area that is almost always empty. So many people spend countless hours at the range when the majority of that time should be putting and chipping. Imagine if you were as confident standing over a 10-15 foot putt with a normal size cup as with one that large. My.guess is more putts made.

My only problem with golf is that I am usually standing too close to the ball............ after I hit it.

I'd average under 15 putts a round.. got knows how many lipped puts I get. And how many chips I have that barely role left or right of the hole... I mean people would be chipping it in ALL THE TIME.

I bowled a couple of times in a summer no tap league, you have a good point.  The best usually remain the best, but it narrows the gap between good and expert, almost like adding a couple of strokes to your handicap.  I suspect scratch golfers would see the least benefit.
