I have recently gone back to PING (see sig) and was thinking about getting a PING bag to compliment my new change...I have been reading around about these two bags (Latitude & Hoofer) and was wondering if anyone could give me a real life perspective on the difference between these bags in refernce to the dividers ...is it easier to get clubs in and out of the Latitude versus the Hoofer becuase it has 6 dividers?  Also any other information about differences would be helpful other then what I can read on PING's website...thanks.

They both are easy to get out. But, as with any bag that isn't a 14 way divider (which are ugly and weigh a ton), you will sometimes have troubles getting them to sit to the bottomr right away because of the grips touching.

Go with the C1!

Thanks for responding...you say go with the C1...but why?

I know it has a great history and I have owned a couple over the years.  I am interested in others opinion on this also as I am actually leaning toward the V2 as I went to the local Edwin Watts yesterday and compared them side by side and they each have there pros and cons as follows:

1)  C1 - Lighter (but I really don't walk much and want a stand bag just for practicing at the range, etc...), like the small knob (handle) at the top to help set the bag down (helps to extend the legs), simple just like PING

2)  V2 - A little taller and I play +1/2 inch so my clubs seem to sit better in this bag and I would assume this makes it work on a cart better (?), has one more pocket and 6 dividers which I keep thinking is going to help with gettting the clubs in and out but if so it was not so noticable yesterday that I made a purchase

Thanks again for any help I can get in comparing these bags

    • Yeah, I think I misread that part. I read "in front of" and kinda skipped the rest.
    • We just completed our winter league (Jan 1 - April 30)  Our scoring was simple.  We used the 18 birdies app.  You get 1 point for every member of the league you beat head to head in an 18 hole round (no handicap).  You also get a point for completing the round.  Therefore 4 members play a round- winner of the round gets 4 points, runner-up gets 3, third gets 2, and last gets 1.  Points accumulate throughout the season.  You can play as many times as you want. Our winner accumulated 110 points while second was 102 and third was 97.  We had a total of 16 members in the league.  No issues whatsoever.  All about fun.
