I took a leap and purchased a Ping G15 driver from this outfit.  Well, when I got it I noticed it was very heavy so I put it on my swing weight scale and it was off the scale.  I called Ping and checked the serial number and low and behold, it was a stolen number.  So this company sells knock off clubs from China that look pretty but are counterfeit.  The head on this thing was not titainium, so it must have been a thin steel head that's why it was so heavy.  I confronted the company and they didn't deny these were counterfeit clubs, so I asked for a refund.  After 3 months of going back an forth, they gave me 30% of what I paid for this thing and they didn't even want the club back.  I informed my credit card company (BOA Visa) and hopefully they will credit me the remaining amount.  I also asked them to report this to their fraud department and hopefully they will not accept transactions from this company in the future.  So no matter how good the site looks and how pretty their clubs look, at these prices it can't be legit.  If you also look at their site you'll notice that they even write/speak in broken English.  That's another clue.  STAY AWAY and tell your friends.

Sorry you got burned, and thanks for the warnings.

In general, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.  Also, a whois to check the registry of a website is a habit I've gotten myself into before making a purchase.

Wow! I just purchased one myself! Wish I would have heard that 2 weeks ago! How did you go about getting your refund? It looks like I will be doing the same!
