I don't mind playing in temps down to 45 degrees and based on course crowds, many do. That's fine with me. Quick to get on, pace of play faster than usual. I wish it could be like this all season. Late March to late April, October, November. Might as well enjoy it until the masses come.

Little cold for me, but glad you're taking advantage of it.  Was hoping to get out today, but the business didn't cooperate.  Maybe Monday.

Driving out to the course yesterday,my car thermometer was flipping between 44 and 48 F and I wondered if I shouldn't turn around.  It was good to see a few other golfers on the course when I got there. I saw another single hitting two balls off the first tee and a pair waiting. No one asked me to join them, so I went to the back nine.

The back nine was the fastest I ever played at roughly an hour (took a cart). No waiting on nobody. Also a personal best on that course, with a 43. Then I go to the front nine. Empty except for a foursome on #2, so I went around them. Zoom zoom. I caught the two guys that were originally in front of me at the beginning on the 7th hole!  I'm looking at 1:45 on my watch, so they were on pace for a 4 hour round.  They wave me thru and it's clear in front of them.  Finished up and went back to #2. Total time for me was like 2:15. I duffed a couple on the front nine and wound up with a 48. Shucks. Finished with the same ball too.

And I didn't feel cold at all, but it was really windy with  20mph gusts. My car thermometer said 52 when I got back.

I wanted to go out today so bad... I was thinking about it all night not being able to fall asleep. I wake up to 30+ mph winds... no thanks.

I'll be out there Sunday though, that's for sure!
