I've been playing pretty good lately, but on video I noticed my swing is a little shallow. It's fine at the top (hands are level with the top of my head), but on the takeaway the club comes a little bit inside my hands. Is there any problem with that? I've been hitting it fine, 10 yard draw like I want, except for occasionally I'll hit it a groove thin. Other than that everything's great. Any problem with taking it a little too far inside?

At your level ?

Major problem with a shallow swing in that coming from inside is difficult (consistently), which may leed to some thinned or fat balls, since you are at 1.1 index, it seems that it is not the case....... but if you would give yourself a bit more room by a steeper swing you might ban the inconsistent contacts.

How can we know without seeing your swing? It's like asking Jim Furyk if taking the club back too far out is a problem, it works for him.

If you don't have big trouble with ballstriking, there is no need to change anything. If your poor shots are a result of a flat takeaway, getting rid of one shot a round could help lower your handicap.
