At our club it is a fun tournament, male only.  But here it is spiced up some with maybe a larger hole on one of the Par 3 (leading to a lot more birdies) and one green with maybe 4 holes on it (once on the green take your pick on where to putt).  So it is a fun tournament, better ball format, two man teams)  but not to say the competition isn't there.  I enjoy it and try to play every year.
