Wondering why I don't see anything about this club.  For years I played almost everyday then kids got older and the usual sports and school got in the way so I quit for 12 years.  Kids are gone now so I've started playing again but now it's 2-3 times a week.  I'm a club short with my irons but I've had them forever and love'em so I'll keep playing them.  My old driver just wasn't getting me up with the rest of my group so a change was needed.  Now I'm left handed living in rural Iowa, the closest golf shop is an hour away and they have 3 drivers for me to hit.  First I bought a Callaway, didn't like it and no longer than my 15+ year old Callaway.  Sold it and bought the TM Super fast TP with an upgraded shaft, still no longer than my old driver.  Getting frustrated at this point and told the wife I wanted to try one more.  Yes I have a super wife!!  I've had my Super ADX Yonex irons since they first came out and have loved them since the first day I hit them 20 years ago.  Ordered what I think was about the only left handed Nanospeed 3i I could find.  Fellas you have got to try one of these!  This thing flat rips it.  I've gone from 10-15 yards behind to 10-15 in front. Probably the most telling thing I can tell you is this.  Of the regular guys I play with 1 has ordered the 3 wood, because he can't hit a 3 wood and we give him all kinds of grief about it. Another who has only played TM for as long as I've known him is actively bidding on this driver as I write this.  Awesome club, I'm hitting from spots I've never hit from before.  THANK YOU YONEX!!

Yah im not sure how but Yonex really seems to fly under the radar, at least over here in the states, while making some really spectacular Irons. Ive never hears much about their drivers but thats good to hear. Maybe Yonex is big in Europe and Aisa? I dont know but I have certainly heard good things about their Irons.

Funny you mention that; Colin Montgomerie and Ryo Ishikawa are their two staff players.

    • Day 36: back to some mirror work tonight. Need a bit more forearm roll in my feels to help with the shallowing.
    • _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.
    • Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.
    • I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
    • I haven't been able to practice like I wanted and won't for the next week.  1. The weather sucks in Ohio this year. I have been mostly inside hitting foam balls. Just kind of my basic stuff.  2. I woke up last Saturday with a left side rib muscle on fire. If I turned or leaned a certain way it would spasm that almost buckled my knees. I have been taking a break to let that settle. I don't want to get a long term injury. I think I pinched a nerve or just aggravated a muscles.   3. I am going on a mini-vacation to Florida (screw you Ohio weather) with a friend, and rolling that into a work conference I have next week. I will be with out my clubs for a week.  I will be back next in two Fridays to hit the ground running with some warmer temps and better weather in Ohio, hopefully. I would really like to get more out on the course and the range.
