New here and not quite sure if this is the right thread or not.  Im in a golf course management program, and we recently visited the USGA research and testing center, inside they had a lot of photos and physics type pictures of high speed testing or launch, impact, spin, etc, each with equations to go along with the pictures.  I'm trying to put together a project for school, and I am having a hard time finding a lot of the frame by frame high speed pictures of the tests. Im wondering if anyone here would know where I could come across some of those pictures so I could put them together for my school to show how long the ball is actually on the clubface with photos, spin rates with numbered balls, launch angles, etc... so I'm hoping you guys can help.

The ball is on the clubface for about 400-450 microseconds.

For any images or more data, you can look online or contact the USGA. That's what I'd recommend.

I have looked online, trying various search topics, including usga impact, usga launch photos, usga golf ball science, golf ball compression, usga golf ball test photos, found a half decent pictures, but I didn't find what I was looking for, any ideas aside from contacting them directly because I was just there and they didn't give me an answer.

I don't know that you'll be able to get that info from the USGA. Last I heard, they kept their test results under lock & key mainly due to the fact that they don't want to get into the "advertising" market. It's a slippery slope when you start publishing any test data from their perspective. For example, what's the longest ball/driver as tested by the USGA? How about the ball that spins the most off a wedge, yet the least off a driver? The USGA has a great deal of this data but releasing it would be asking for an implosion. You might have far better luck finding independent test data. Check with individual manufactures or magazines. You'll very likely find more published material from them.

not looking for any specific data, moreso just pictures from the tests, I dont really care about the numbers, just looking for still frames from the impact, launch, and compression tests they run on every golf ball.
