I shot my career round today. Putter was the best club in my bag. Shot a +1 72 at my home course, beating my previous best round by 5 strokes. Below are my stats from the round. It was really a lot of fun. The other two scores in my threesome were 69 and 70, so I guess that kind of backs the whole idea that playing with better players helps. Just thought I would share my excitement with my fellow TST members.

Solid...congrats my man for a great round. Hitting so many greens and putting well is a deadly combination. It will take quite a few tenths off that handicap too. I bet you are jonesing to go out and play again.

Well done!

"Riccio's Rule" (SCORE = 95 - 2*GIR) would have you shooting 71, so it's even possible to argue that your putting marginally let you down relative to your ball striking. We should all experience such disappointment!

You know whats funny, I missed my eagle putt on the Par 5 18th for an even round. Left me with a tap in birdie. Ill take a 2 putt birdie any day. While I am very proud/happy about my round, I really left 2 birdies on the course. I was not only hitting greens, but on a few holes I was throwing darts. On 2 holes I had less than 15ft for birdie and barely missed the putt. One I hit my line but had just a little too much speed so it lipped out, and the other I just read the wrong break and the ball missed about an inch left. Both were tap in pars, so my speed was on most of the day.

Cant wait to get out this weekend and try to beat that score.

lol I know. I shot an 89 on Saturday, and a 72 on Sunday. So, hopefully, my next round will be 82 or better. That way I can go low again on Memorial Day.

feels good when things are flowing nice

slowly getting there myself

wish my putter was as good

i shot 74 yesterday and didnt drop a thing

tossed darts all day and had quite a few inside 10feet......2 stinkin birdies all day...arrgghhh.....

anyways....GRATS again man, keep up the great work

The guy in my group who shot the -1 70 was the same way. He had 15 straight pars hitting at least 13 greens. Made bogey on 16, then a birdie - birdie finish to get into the red. It was great to watch the others play. He said on the 18th green, that if he was rolling the ball better he probably would have been -5.....this is what I have to play against in the Club Championship next month lol

After shooting my personal best 3 weeks ago (76) I shot a 91 last Thursday--I've been miserable since.

It was a difficult course that I'd never played before, very windy that day.  Teed off after driving 2hrs to get there with no warm up.

Oh boy..... lol I just got these in October 2010. They have about 60-70 rounds on them. I love these sticks, so Titleist better have something great for me to switch.
