Been at a 3 for ten years or so now and can't get to scratch! I know it's all mental at this point in time, but I don't know how to fix it (unlike my swing). I have all the game I need to get to scratch, but my head is holding me back.

I don't know my question, because I don't know what to ask.

Has anyone gotten over a mental "hump" in their game that made a huge difference? I am willing to try anything at this point in time.

Thanks

Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated

At a really low handicap like yours .... the game can be frustrating at some days, I know a few of these lowcappers at our club, one bad drive or a deep bunker can so easely spoil a good round.

Wat I see most is that these low cappers, just hit the ball 300+ yds from the tee, walk up to the ball (searching also, bc. at 300yds it is so easy to miss a fairway), but seldom I see these low cappers having a game plan for each hole.

Making a game plan helped me a lot from getting from let's say 15 to my current index, but now I need to focus on getting closer tpo the hole with about all my shots and I mean really close, to start making just a few more birdies and pars to get to the next better level.
