Currently I'm sporting the Adidas 360 3.0's which have served me well over the past year, I've probably worn them for around 50 rounds and at the range 50 times. I have enjoyed the comfort and stability of these shoes but recently my feet have begun to hurt. I was curious what everyone considers a standard life for a pair of shoes? Do you replace every year or by number of rounds?

Not sure if there is an answer to your poll...It all depends on the person not alone how often do you play in a season....

I just bought the Adidas Powerband 3.0 and am in the testing process as we speak...Played through 10 rounds now and I'm just starting to break the leather in...Walking 18 tomorrow and 18 on Sunday...By far the best investment I've made...

I usually replace mine every year or two depending on of course how much I golfed that year. Some shoes hold up better than others. I would also say that weather factors in here in the northwest you gotta get some really good waterproof shoes otherwise your definitely buying new shoes every season.

I swap out the factory insoles with better cushioned ones, and it enables me to keep playing more comfortably in the shoes for longer.

I also rotate between 3 pairs of shoes, so that one does not get completely beat down over the season (50+ rounds last season).

~3 years would be a fair approximation.

I'm also gaming the 360 3.0. Got them in San Diego last July. I'm thinking a year or so does me pretty good. I also bought a pair of TRUEs in the winter, so my 360s are not as worn (I'm a walker).

I'm looking at either the 4.0 or going over to the Nike Lunar Control.

What type of insoles do you find work well? I'm worried they would slip or slide under the force of a full swing.

Couldn't recommend them more highly, myself (I know you weren't asking me). I'm about to go from two pair to four pair, if that tells you anything.

I have used Dr. Scholl's and Spenco brands with good results.  http://www.bestinsoles.com/ is a good website  - worth checking out.
