Is it normal to hit balls slightly to the left when you go from standard lie to an upright lie ?

I am experimenting with some settings (the Matrix of my 910 D2), but it is a bit hard to understand..... As I am a tall guy (6'9" ooops), but I don't want to get a longer driver shaft, I am tinkering with the hosel and experience the upright positions giving balls flying left......

I have tried the A2 and B2, but as I like a bit more loft, I am thinking to go for the C3 or D3 setting.

In general translating this to irons, would a change from standard lie to upright lie, result in more balls left ???

I've always heard that an upright lie tends to go left.  My Ping irons are the white dot and that is something like 3 degrees upright (that's what the fitter put me in).  I was at the range one day and our club assistant pro was there finishing up a lesson.  We were talking and she hit one of my irons and the first thing she said was that they must really be upright because she was hitting everything left...
