High Handicapper wanting to purchase a forgiving Ping iron set

I still use PING eye 2 irons, they are great for me, but I have not tried the newer PING irons out there.

Rented ping Eye 2 in a golf club in Morroco, could not believe how the ball was flying With the 5 for instance : simply amazing ; consitently 150 meterrs + Asked if I could buy them and got the set for 80 euros with metal shaft I feel so confident hittng them and being consitent with them. I do collect all sort of nice clubs : miura, honma, ben hogans, but these Pings are really amazing ! Wish you a nice golf time

The Eye2+ I believe are the Eye2 profile with stronger lofts through the set if that is important to you. The Eye2+ are similar lofts to the ZINGs and ZING 2's I think. Eye2's and +'s can be found fairly easily in the $150-200 range, and less if you are lucky. I am thinking of getting a set myself. They are iconic and worth the scratch just to have even if you don't keep them as your main set. A lot of folks still play them.

I play Ping Zing 2s and I have played with Ping Eye 2s. I swear by both sets. I will not get rid of my Zings.  Straightest shots I have ever hit.
