I usually do not eat before an important match.

Empty stomach makes me concentrate better.

But, nice typical british meal, BB69!

it depends on the round I'm going for. If its the last day of a tournament and I'm in the running, then probably nothing until its all over.

If I'm running late for a tee time (the usual for me) then its whatever the gas station has

The tour players have it right. Tiger especially. They usually stick to fruit, healthy cereal, and wheat toast. Milk, orange juice is good. Coffee is listed as not good, but I break that one. Refuelign on the course is also important to keep your strength up and your muscle loose.

If I am going out before noon it is a bowl or two of Raisin Bran or maybe an egg and an Englis Muffin. If it is the afternoon then probably 2 hot dogs.

I usually do either a slim fast shake and some toast or english muffin, and carry some balance or clif bars in the bag. Then a sandwich or hot dog at the turn.

peanut butter and sugar free jelly sandwich on whole wheat and a xyience protein shake before. some greay goose hear and there thru my round!

I usually have a smoothie, cereal, and an english muffic w/ peanut butter before a match - good balance of protein and carbs. I bring a peanut butter sandwich, a banana, granola bar, bottle of water, and some starburst fruit chews in my bag to munch on at various points during the round. I'll usually have the banana first (after 3 holes), then a few starburst and the granola bar after 7 holes, and i'll finish up with the sandwich after 13 or 14, drinking water the whole time. I have found that my concentration is much better if I eat constantly, and balance sugar, protein and carbs.
