hi, I'm just starting out and my wife picked me up a set of womens clubs. I'm about 5'10" and have only gone to the range about 5 times and played a course about 5 times. it seems like my biggest problem is that I keep hitting the ball thin, and i figured since mens clubs are longer I would hit the ball more consistent. I have her talked into getting a new set of mens taylormade burners because I just feel like these clubs are just to short that i have now. should I get some mens clubs or should i learn to play with these because the mens clubs might not help me as much as I think they would?

any advice would be helpful. thanks!

Hit with men's clubs. Even if they don't help your game, they'll help your reputation in the club house.

Really, they probably are too short. If you're still working on your swing, get a used set of men's clubs to learn on.

In my Bag (work in progress):

Driver: TaylorMade 10.5* R11, Regular Shaft
3W: TaylorMade Burner 15*

3Hy: Nike SQ Sumo Hybrid
Irons: 2005 TaylorMade Rac OS, 4-AW

Wedge: Cleveland CG14 56*, old dingy 64* wedge that I have no business using

Putter: Odyssey White Hot Tour Putter or a Cleveland Classic Anser-Style

Kicks: Footjoy E-Comforts

Ball: Used Titleist DT Solos.

Thanks that's good advice! I just need a few more thoughts on the subject. My wife is gonna want to see what everyone thinks an she will pretty much do what you guys think is best!
