Hi guys, hope this isnt a stupid a question I looked online for a generic shaft length chart and found one, and going by my height (5'9) and my wrist to floor length (32 inch) and the chart recommended half inch shorter shafts than normal lenght Could this explain why im more consistent and accurate when i choke down on the club? And if.they are the wrong length could it meam the lie angle isnt right for my swing also?

I think almost everyone feels like they're more consistent when they choke down a little. Shorter shafts feel easier to control (and often are). But that doesn't mean it's what suites your swing best. [/quote] If they are the wrong length then yes, the lie angle might tolerate being tweaked as well. But don't place orders based purely on a fitting chart, actually hit some clubs with those adjustments. One size does not fit all and all swings not only have unique actions but unique feels to the player. Feel the customizations and test them before spending any serious money on them.
