I have always had great luck with everything Nike, tried other brands but kept coming back to Nike. The pro-combo really works great I love the blade 8-PW and the gradual cavity back on the 3-7 make it a breeze to hit. I recently bought the SQ when the SUMO came out (only casue I hate buying something this year and then next year it's 1/3rd off, plus I don't mind playing year old equipment to save $100) and I love it. Before the SQ I was playing the Ignite and it was a great driver too.

I have friend who swears by Callaway and another who makes his own clubs so I guess ultimately no matter what the magazines say, the pro's use or friends tell you it is ultimately going to be up to you and what you like or works for you.

I like Nike. I remember when I first started paying attention to golf, and then starting playing it. I remember the cold shoulder Nike got and still gets from many golf folks.

They're not "traditional" enough. They bought their way into the sport and then bought the best golfer. They can't be big in golf, they have all the other sports. Etc etc etc. You hear all kinds of stuff from people hating on Nike.

Well, that was part of the reason I wanted to game Nike's. Because it was different and controversial.

Oh, and I don't think they make bad clubs either.

I must say that the sound that Nike drivers make has always turned me away from the brand. At times I think the entire golf course knows when someone has teed off with a Nike driver!
