I mentioned in the podcast that I'd find a picture, but it turns out I didn't have to. Someone emailed me a picture showing Evan Mickelson's "outfit" on Sunday at Pebble Beach.

I don't feel the need to say much more...

A little bit confused..... Evan? That picture kinda looks like Phil. Does he have a second name that I am not aware of?

It costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time to dress your kids (and yourself Amy) like that. That was a bit rediculous though, although I will say, Amy is on hot looking female.

The kid in the middle with the stripes is Evan. I'm not sure if he's Phil's kid or a nephew.

Well now I seem like an idiot..... I guess i'm not enough of a golf junkie to know the pro's kids name.

I only knew it after hearing the announcer say it last week, and from context of looking at the picture.

I guess the other half is to find out the names of the fathers... do you know the name of, say, Charles Howell III's father, Davis Love III's father, or Notah Begay III's father? There, now you're 3 for 4 on the family questions in this thread ;)

A little eccentric and not my take but pretty hip outfit now days and really only a kid could get away with this....reminds me of some of the Beatles outfits.

This is what happens when a mom and two sisters dress the only male child -- they should have just put him in a dress!

Doesnt this reflect the old school golf society? I remember back (way back) when I started people still wore knickers at the Country Club. I wouldnt do this to my kid. But to each there own.

I'd love to dress like Ian Poulter on the course at some point. Maybe not his all-pink British Open '06 outfit, but some of his other outfits.

Aren't they called 'Plus Fours'? I thought it was to the knees, plus four inches...sorry, I just finished reading The Greatest Game Ever Played.

The poor kid looks like he's wearing curtains. Its a problem when parents dress their kids up in nicer clothes then they wear. Matter of fact all of these children look like they're going to church.

Well, you know, it is Sunday.

Between church, and having a big family dinner, a lot of kids across this country are wearing clothes on Sundays they'd prefer not to wear!!

The greatest golfer in the history of the 1300 block of Patricia Avenue!

      I added to total today by hopping it in on the first hole for an eagle. A short par 4, I hit 4 wood to 110. With a little breeze in my face I hit a 50 degree gap wedge to 2 feet and watched it hop into the hole for an eagle 2!

      Day 14 (September 18).  Morning practice, despite questionable weather (it's raining).   Worked on chipping at first, including run-ups with UW and PW;  I've noticed lately some of my near-GIRs are missing forward, with nothing but grass ahead of me, but 20-30 yards to the pin.  After a few misadventures putting those lately, I wanted to at least get a feeling for what a 30-yard chip shot that doesn't have the variance of my quarter lob wedge would feel like.  I still think "putt when you can putt" is right, but... I am less sure I have a 30 yard putt in me.  Range time also, of course, same routine as the past week or so (drill, 3-4 slow shots, etc).   Did not get to the putting green as it was starting to come down a bit more. Darn, it really is raining.  And I thought today would be a perfect day to play, seeing as how it's 9-18 and all.

      I'm in the same boat.  I think the last team event I got really excited for was the 2019 Presidents' Cup.  When I first got into golf, the Ryder Cup was an event (one among many) I used to plan my schedule around to make sure I'm able to watch it.   I'm not sure I realized how close it was until I saw this thread pop up.
