it's alright. I liked it better than some of the other ones i tested but i'm sure there is better.
the shaft definitely feels too light. especially since i get a little crazy with the hands/arms rushing sometimes

Tayormade R7 Ti 3 wood - Tried the TP and Steel models but had a "failure to launch" - the Ti model is more forgiving, bigger face and CC - Titanium being a lighter material than Steel.

Hit's it high which is great for control off the tee and placing the ball near (or onto greens) on par 5's. Not a club for everyone because it goes high - can be tough in the wind. But i prefer it. For now at least :)

I recently purchased the newly released Titleist 906F4 15.5 degree fairway wood. It came with the Graphite Design YS-6 shaft, but I replaced it with an Aldila NV-65 shaft, similar to the one I enjoy in my hybrid clubs. My affair with this 3 wood remains torrid. We shall see if it lasts.

just switched to Callaway Big Bertha 07 w/uniflex steel shaft for my 3 wood. it absolutely flies off the tee. did have Taylormade V steel 3, but wore it out!

I have 2 3woods, an Alpha 3+ 15 with Penley stiff and a Titliest 904F 15* that I play more now than the Alpha. I also have a 21* Tommy Armour Hybrid, nice club especially for $35!

I have a Taylor Made V Steel 15 degree 3 wood. Its a great 3 wood because of the sole plate. I've hit it about 240 out of light rough. I also have a 200 series Taylor Made 13 degree Tour Spoon which I use on longer courses.

My swing has changed of late, however, and they are going to be relegated to the basement for a while. Gonna get a 2 hybrid and see how that works, and add an extra wedge.
