Mainly my 2-ball putter.

If the course has rough...rough...greens that require a pop then I'll switch up for the round and use my Ping. I don't want to get too heavy handed with my normal putter and loose the feel for fast greens.

It's a wierd combo...but one that works okay for me.

I have an Odyssey Dual Force 550. It's a very nice club considering what I paid for it. NOTHING! I got it for free from my aunt. When it comes time to get a new putter I'm thinking about getting another Odyssey. Possibly a Yes! putter however.

I use a Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom. It has a good weight since i perfer a heavier putter than the blades that most Scottys are and i like the way that line up with the ball, all black with a thin white line. The only bad thing about is if you dont hit it square you can be punished.

I've got a 33" Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Studio Select. That thing is so money. It has such a nice, heavy feel to it and creates such a nice roll. I've never splurged on a putter before, but it was well worth it.

I bought a Ping Anser 2 BeCu on ebay 2 years ago and would never use another putter. It is a good roller on fast or slow greens. I think I would like to be buried with it so I can use it on the hallowed greens in the sky.

What he said!

I have never been a good consistent putter. Over the years I have played with ping putters and a couple of years ago I went with the g5 anser. Well things run a muck so I decided to give a belly putter a try. It has taken some time to get a feel for it but I put it in my bag this week and boy, has it helped. My last 3 rounds I have made more than my share of putts and have had 4 birdies per day. I know I won't keep up that pace, but it sure has been a fun week. Going to stay in the bag for a while.

I currently have an old Ping Karsten series Anser 2 putter, but soon I think that I'm going to get a Scotty Cameron Newport Detour 2.5. I like the feel of that putter, does anyone here have one and have experiences with it?

I got a 34" Odyssey Sabertooth White Hot XG for my birthday last week and I absolutely love it. Switching from a no-name blade to this has virtually eliminated all of my three-putts.

I use a Macgregor Response. That’s right, it’s bigger than my driver (JK, but it is huge). Its the MI 700 model, so its not the exact same that Jack used to win the '86 masters. Its 36" inches long with a Winn grip that I taped over with athletic tape (it’s the texture I prefer for putter grips). The putter is a site to behold and a great topic starter out on the course.

Im making a change, but Im sticking with macgregor. I bought a 35" "the fat lady swings" off ebay for $37 shipped.

I'm currently using an old Titleist Dead Center. I've tried to upgrade with the Odyssey Two Ball, Ping Anser and Odyssey Black Series 1. All are too heavy for my taste. Does anyone have a clue as to what maker offers the lightest head weights? My wife is getting miffed with my too often purchases. HELP!

I use an Odyssey White Hot XG #1. I've used older, oversized Odyssey Putters (DFX 1100 and the 2-ball), but I liked the feel of a blade putter so I switched. I like the White Hot XG series, but I'm thinking of getting a putter with a firmer feel...maybe the Black Series or even a Scotty

Ryan

    • Day (2 May 24) - somehow I missed posting both Tues and Weds practice sessions - so the streak ends and a new one begins…. Focus today was on ball first contact using the Divot Board for reference.   Worked with 7i, 9i and GW hitting hard foam balls.  Started hap hazardly and then settled back into my pre-shot setup.  Much more consistent in the latter.
    • So, Newey is out at Red Bull. Where does he go in a year? Is Max still with RBR in 2026? Hmmmm.
    • August 2010 Woodfin Ridge 18th hole Playing in a large tournament with a slew of friends and the last day was two man best ball. The 18th, when it was bent grass, was very fast due to a steep slope on the right side. I had seen many people over the years putt off the green from above the hole. I hit a great drive and 3W to 30’ left of the hole. With everyone watching my partner hit it way too fast and never high enough and his ball rolled all the way to the bottom of the green.  I hit mine much higher and the ball came to rest about 20” above the hole. Then it slowly started trickling towards the hole for a walkoff eagle! Nobody said anything except my partner who was yelling pretty loudly. I looked at the crowd and told them it was okay to clap because it was a great putt, and they gave me a bunch of polite golf claps and brought me a beer!
    • Day 127: 5/2/24 Stack Full Speed spectrum training session 6/24. Training speed was 5 mph higher than previous high, as was e-speed. Still not as high as I have done in previous programs, but just 1 mph lower. Battling through a neck issue, and possible trigger fingers. Happy with results.
    • Day 49. Played 9 from tees a bit beyond my comfort zone and was humbled. Hit a couple good shots so will take that at least.
