GHIN not Valid but course can enter rounds

Hey I did a quick search here and on google and couldn't find any help.

I went online today at ghin.com to post a score online rather than giving it to my club.  Went to post score and enter my ghin # and it said "golfer not found".  I then proceeded to call my club and they said they just entered a score today under my ghin #.  So why is it that my club can post a score but not me.  I have posted scores online in the past with no problems.  I have paid and my club says I'm an active member.

Any help or suggestions would be great

Some clubs turn off online posting - it is up to the club whether you can post online or not. If you have posted online in the past, you may want to ask if they have changed their policy.

I'm not positive but if it was a tournament score your club probably wouldn't allow those to be posted online. If that's not that case I'd guess you would have to ask.

I have had the same thing happen, the guy that configures it just had to turn on online posting and that fixed it, providing your course allows it.
