A few people asked me to post a thread like this. They wanted to get together at the PGA Championship this year and thought we should have a thread so they could plan a few things.

I was hoping to go, but alas, Dave didn't qualify. :-) So I'll start the thread and then y'all can plan things and meet up. Any Atlanta-area people want to suggest some good restaurants to meet up? Who's going on what days?

If you're planning to go but don't yet have tickets, tickets are still available through Vivid Seats , a service we recommend.

Hopefully we can get some pictures in this thread too... let's put some faces to some names and have some fun. Let's start having some more meetups, and if the PMs I got about this one are an indication, hopefully that can start to happen more.

I live very close to the Atlanta Athletic Club, but I'm starting a new job next week, and probably won't have the time or money to get around much during the championship. Still, I can be a good resource for any members who are coming over for the tournament, and want some advice around Atlanta, Duluth, and Johns Creek.

I've got tickets all week and I'm planning to go Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, then all day Saturday and Sunday.

In the bag:

      Pretty accurate.  Another way you can look at it is how many years was Jack top 10 on the money list. It used to be the list that mattered, nothing else came close. Jack was top 10 from 1962-1978 and then once more in 1983 making 18 years total. He had another 4 inside the top 20. He was #1 8 times.  Tiger was top 10 from 1997-2009, 2012-2013, and 2018 which is 16 times total. His next best were 24th and 38th in 2019-2020. He was #1 10 times.  Honestly, they're both pretty long but Jack has quite a few more seasons in the upper ranks. Makes sense when Tiger barely played in 2010-2011 and then again from 2015-2017, and pretty much 2020 onwards.

      Played three and a half rounds in England last week. I will not be playing more than maybe 4 rounds on any one course. Probably only about 20 rounds all year and between 4 and 8 of those will be alternate shot, so don't really count. Off to a pretty good start though. Three and a half rounds gave me 5 birdies and an eagle (with two of those birdies being on the same hole number).

      First round of 2026. No birdies and a very pedestrian 86. Maybe I should have hit a few balls over the past 100 days. Next year!
