I was going to let this go but just to continue the conversation what is the definition of "spooned" or "scraped" or "pushed".  In a greenside bunker one  is usually trying to contact the sand first and not the ball.  I don't see where turning your club around and doing that is anymore a violation of the rules than turning a right handed club upside down and hitting the ball left handed which I have done.  As best I can tell if you use the head of the club to "strike the ball' you are in compliance with rules since there is not a definition of any of the three prohibited method of moving the ball.

The ball must be fairly struck at with the head of the club and must not be pushed, scraped or spooned.
