I played a fair bit of golf in my teen years, then developed an interest in mountain bikes and the clubs have been put away for quite a few years. The occasional game here and there through the years which I always enjoyed, but just haven't had the time or inclination to play regularly. That's changed recently since I've started my own business (in the bike trade) and have been playing a few rounds over the past couple of months - the bug has bitten again! I hope to get to single figures by the end of the year. Unfortunately my riding has suffered due to this re-found golf addiction, but any time I can make a spare couple of hours I'd rather be out on the course than turning pedals it seems.... I'm an Australian living in the UK and playing at Chiltern Forest club - lovely little course and a nice club. I'm long off the tee but rather erratic though improving. Short game is improving round on round, when I get that right I've shot a couple of pretty low scores - had 2 over for 9 holes yesterday. Anyhow, glad to be here and hope to pick up a few tips and pointers and benefit from the excellent and thorough reviews on this site.
