I have a slightly closed clubface at the top of my backswing and as i begin my downswing i close it even more. I have a slightly strong grip and have tried multiple ways to get rid of this. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers

You just answered your own question.  Strong grip is giong to cause a closed club face.  With that said there are many great players who played with a shut face or do play with a shut face.

Why do you need to get rid of your closed club face? What's wrong with your ball flight to warrant the change?

Also it's generally thought that in order to help diagnose problems, video is required on here.

In my experience, some people on here believe a lower index provides more valid advice. I guess the second poster is three points smarter?!?

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

Does seem odd..anyone with a 4 index would have an idea of how to correct a closed clubface.  I am new to this forum and am still not sure about how legit the blogs are.

Dunno how its odd.  I just registered here cause I was recently disabled for 60 days on another golf forum for joking on someone rickie folwer avatar.  But, lets try to figure out if we were the same people what could we accomplished making a post about a closed club face?  I got it there is a new revolutionary swing out there called closed club face golf.  Go to the site and buy the DVD NOW!!!!

You should lighten up. ;-) They don't share IPs or anything else in common that I can find except having signed up close to each other. Chill. Not everything is a conspiracy and I think this site, perhaps better than any other, does a first-rate job of preventing spam and spammers.

This site has the benefit of regular users who flag spam the second it's reported.

You're right though, I need to lighten up.

Hard to tell without seeing your swing.  Could be just a bowed wrist at the top.
