I am a lefty and I was getting used to playing my second shots from the left woods and have been working on ridding my slice. Now I am pulling the ball right and it is straight as an arrow. I am not sure if this is progress as I will be playing my second shots from the left woods. I have been trying to compensate for the pull left by aiming a little right, when I do so I hit it straight but cannot make good contact which causes me to hit the ball on the bottom heel of the driver making it go maybe 150 yards....what is making me pull it and why when I compensate and try to aim right I hit it straight but heel it? Help.

A good first step is understanding what's happening. You swing from outside to in and, previously, your club face was open relative to your swing path so the ball started right and then sliced left. At the moment, you have managed to get the face square to the swing path at impact so the ball goes right with no curve. Long term, you probably need to try and move your swing path more out to the left. As a start, try and feel like you get your hands in more behind you on the backswing and let the club head go out more in the followthrough (imagine you're a baseball hitter trying to hit the ball over third base).

Exactly, I'm battling and out to in swing path as well. I either slice the ball or pull the ball. Try a lower backswing, get your hips moving forward and keep your back elbow close to the body.
