I was at the tourny and watched him in person. His swing is parallel at the top and has a great transition. Because he hits it so hard he has to use a driver that doesn't have very much loft cause the shaft can't keep the ball flight flat enough so he sprays it a bit. once he finds a driver that he can hit with more loft he will get more accurate. He likes to work the ball so i think courses that aren't as straight will suit him better.

I'm not so sure a more lofted driver is what the problem is if he's spraying it. he's a long driver, they have to land a ball into a football field size grid to score. I'm guessing that his transition from long drive champ to pro golfer is going to take it's toll on his driving accuracy for a while yet. also with a ball speed like his he needs a lower launch angle to keep his flight flatter. so it may be more of a shaft issue than a loft issue, but I could be wrong, I'm not a club fitter. he plays his low lofted driver for a reason, I'm pretty sure his driver has been fit to him by someone. my real curiosity is in his short game and touch shots. how were they? how was he when it wasn't a full swing? touch around the greens?
