Question about temp greens

I played at a course near my house today, and it was a great course, with several beautiful holes. Only problem was that 2 holes had temp greens cause the greens were burnt up so bad. My question is, how long does it typically take before the greens are ready to play again. Is it the kind of thing that they'll be better in a month, or come back in the spring?

How long it takes has a lot to do with the weather and season.  Since you didn't list your location it is difficult to tell how long it will take.  But I'd guess this time of year it will be spring before the greens return to former glory.

Sorry, I guess location would help. It's Summergrove, which is in Newnan, GA, south of Atlanta.

Really its not water that hurts greens, its high temps. In ohio we don't have drought conditions, but our greens started to get burnt here, because of the days above 90..

With it cooling down, if they didn't die off then the greens would return decenty fast. I have seen greens turn around in 1 weeks time, easy, some don't turn around at all and have to be rebuilt, it just depends on the water and how they are taken care of.
