Congrats on the eagle! I've been playing a year now and have hit 2, both on the same hole. 17th, 485 Par 5. Downwind, big drive down the middle and left with 163 to the pin. Solid 8-iron to 6ft past. Nailed the putt. shot a 81 that day.

Then the following month, same conditions except a hit a HUGE drive and hit a 9-iron in and sank a 10ft putt. Shot a 79 that day, first time i broke 80.

Hopefully i can continue on shooting lower!

congrats!!! I've had one eagle this year, holed a 70 yard wedge shot on a part 4.

nice.  :)  my first was also on a driveable 260 yard par 4, although i didn't catch it very well so i found myself about 30 yards short of the flag.  managed to hole it out with an easy wedge, though.  that was 2 years ago, i guess, and i've managed 6 more since then (though no more on that particular hole).  oddly enough, only 2 of my 7 total eagles have been via putts and the rest have been holed out from the fairway.

Congrats on the eagle... I've had exactly one opportunity so far and missed the 10 foot putt (although I made the tap in birdie).  Good job and keep it up.
