My wife and son want to play golf when we visit Vegas. Both are very high handicappers. I'm looking for an easy course that caters to beginners and high handicappers and would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks to all.

It is a little ways outside Las Vegas, but the Primm Valley Lakes course is very accessible for beginning and hi-HC golfers.  My wife is not a real golfer but we have enjoyed playing there every time we've gone.  We have been treated very well there and the course is absolutely beautiful.  The fairways are generous, the rough is light, and there aren't any real forced carries.  We have never played the Mountain course, but my understanding is that it is more difficult - which is why we haven't played it.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

In no particular order:

Tuscany Golf course, on the road to Lake Las Vegas.

Boulder City Golf Course (not Boulder Creek, which is much tougher).

Angel Park, 2 18 hole courses plus a neat putting course.

Callaway Golf Range, just south of the Airport. A fun par-3 course.

Wildhorse, in Henderson.

There are other executive style courses, but I haven't played them.  There are also a lot of high-end courses that will surely take your money, but they are generally tougher than the one's above.

We ended up playing at the Callaway range course and enjoyed it.

Thanks for the replies.
