59's are not true blades indeed. But that is something you just can't see at address. From the top view this club is a blade, from the front this club looks like a blade. Only the titanium insert and therewith the backside makes this a some kind off muscle cavity. Basicly the same idea what taylormade did with the older version off tour preferred irons '08. A blade looking and feeling iron with some forgiveness. Basicly all i want in an iron. I had a go with the 69 also and i hit them great but the punishment on off center hits makes me go for 59.
