So Im new to this forum..(hello everyone)..im not so new to golf but this will be my first season I will be dedicating more than enough time to develope my game.. so for early this year ive been adding to my new ogio bag...as of now I got burner superfast 10.5 driver reg flex, burner superfast 3 wood reg flex and oddysey white hot mallet putter..I tried the burner 2.0 irons and loved em but I can get the 4-aw in rocketballz irons for nearly the same price...anyone know or think these are as good or better than the 2.0s ? or should I just stick with the 2.0 line up..look forward to some opinions thanks

I don't know the exact difference between them but I'd recommend trying both and seeing which ones you like better.  The RBZ ones will have a better resale value if you ever decide to sell them so if they are close to the same price that might be the better option assuming you like both sets equally.

If you love the Burner's then stick with them. Club choice is all about confidence.

What looks better to your eye?

All other things being mostly equal, you'll play better with the club that looks good to you.

hmm thats a tough one..they are both apealing..but if theyre isnt much difference between the two i guess getting the 2.0 will match the rest of my clubs being burners aswell..anyone ever deal with gppgolf.com ?? one concern of mine buying online is ofcource authenticy and warranty..i can get a set of 2.0s 4-aw for 350 plus shipping and chance of border fees ..or I can just buy them from nevada  bobs golf in canada for 499.00 tax free ....

I would not worry about matching woods and irons - woods don't match irons anyway.

I think the regular RBZ irons, as opposed to the Max, look very good at address. I'd go for the newest irons, if about the same price, and the latest technology.

I have bought from GPP golf twice and both were great experiences.  I wouldn't worry about buying from them at all, they are legit.

Have death with GPP on several occasions - they've always come through and they are a legitimate retailer in S. Texas near the Louisiana border

I'd want to make sure it's the RBZ, and not the RBZ Max.

Before you buy, try www.discountdansgolf.com

Call in the morning and check their pricing -- lots of people use them and you can order custom specs.

Six in one, half dozen in the other.  The RBZs have stronger lofts than do the Burner 2.0s and thats where the distance comes from.  IMO, its not that the RBZs are better, its just the TM is playing a smoke and mirrors game where you need to read between the lines and look beyond the marketing hype.

Does this mean that the Burner 2.0s should launch higher than the RBZs??

I bought these last week at my local Golf Shop. RBZ Irons 4-AW Steel Regular Flex.

Ok, so... yes , as any golf club, if you hit it in the sweet spot the ball is gonna come out screaming. On each, the shaft is a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch longer than a "standard" club, so of course, its gonna carry more, plus the lofts are a degree stronger. What I like about th ese club is the rewarding "feedback" when you hit it in the middle of the face; you feel like you just destroyed the ball...

It has a nice look and it's not bulky for a "SGI" club. The 5 and 4 have a slim "insert" on the back cavity (as contrary to the hollow cavity of AW-6i) wich makes them a "stealth hybrid". I'm saying "stealth hybrid" because the 5i and 4i do not look like a hybrid at all and I'm not talking about the RBZ hybrids, which can be bought with the set or separatly. These (the 5i and the 4i) are "true irons" with something inserted in the back cavity.

RBZ, I would have give you five stars, but my later clubs (Cobra S9) were more forgiving on fat shots. Your sole is not as wide as the S9 or Ping's G20. So you do grab some turf if you do not hit the ball first, contrary to my later clubs which slide under the ball if you hit it a few mm's behind it. The only thing I don’t agree 100% ( or even 60%) is that they are, as Golf Digest categorized them, SGI (Super Game Improvement or Max Game Improvement) Clubs. I’m not saying they are “hard to hit”, but for a High Handicaper, there are easier to hit and more forgiving clubs out there.

I've been playing with stiff flex steel shafts all my life, but recently tried out some regular flex and really appreciated the give and seemingly increase in club head speed. I ended up pickung up Taylor Made Burner 2.0 iron set with regular flex steel shaft and they're awesome! I picked them up for 299.95, which seems to be within your budget from the site below.
