New Mayakoba / WGC Matchplay plan for 2013 just plain wrong!

I just can't believe this, posted on the PGA Tour website.

From 2013, players who are knocked out of the WGC Matchplay before Saturday who are prepared to fly down to the Mayakoba can play on the weekend with a

"nominal score of leader status plus 5".

This just doesn't seen fair to me. So, just say John Huh or someone is on 8 under, Luke Donald, or  for that matter Tiger Woods, could fly down and tee off on Saturday and actually be within striking distance of the leaders and ahead of guys who actually played the first 36 at -3. Weird.

Because the Mayakoba is played opposite the WGC, and the support for it is minimal, they have decided to spice it up by allowing this to happen.

Doesn't seem fair on the guys who legitimately make the cut and are outside the world top 64.
I wonder how many of the players will take up the offer.

Outrageous.
