Plane Stick training aid.

Not sure if this has been posted before. I was actually thinking of making my own before I looked it up.

There are:

back and down swing drills to fix OTT

follow through drills to finish more on plane

hip slide drill to ensure your getting your hips sliding to the target

Posture drill

head position drill.

This would work well with a DTL camera as additional feedback.

Seems like this could be useful. Any opinions on something like this. I could make my own with PVC and a pool noodle or handle bar foam grip material

Or you could do it the easy way and stick an alignment stick or even roadway stick into the ground at the desired angle. I've used alignment sticks for this purpose before. Doesn't work too well on a mat though. :-P

Are the alignment stick sturdy enough not to bend at that angle?

Absolutely. A bit rougher if you're doing something that causes you to hit the sticks though.
