So my current glove is on it's way out, might have one round left in it, the thumb is almost gone and it's falling apart. I asked my mom to pick up a RH glove for me. She stopped at Walmart and Target but they didn't have it, so she stopped at a local 9 hole course. She went in and asked the guy for a glove. She bought it and gave it to me when she got home. It was a top-flite XT glove, normally 9 dollars at most of the courses I play. The guy charged her $40!!!!! She has very little experience when it comes to golf so she assumed it was the normal price. Do y'all think that is the actual price at that course, or that the store manager took advantage of her small knowledge of golf?? I feel it was the latter and we are going to return it. Has this ever happened to anybody else??

That's the actual price at the course.  They charge $15 for a sleeve of 3 ProV1's.  It's just a way for them to make more money on people.  If someone *really* needs a glove before they go out, they can change whatever they want.  All those things are a ripoff, but that's what they charge.  I'm guessing you'd be able to return it.

Yeah, i don't think it was the later.  At a nice club here I just played, a footjoy mens large normal StaSoft was $37.
