At our club they have their own tournaments and trophies.

Are Saturdays and Sundays a lady free zone?

Not in the slightest. If there's a women's tourney on weekends it's more like a men-free zone.

Should they all play in Venus?

As long as they're not holding me up and refusing to let me play through even though they're a good hole or two behind I don't care where they play.

Do they really understand the concept of putting?

Putting is one thing men and women do equally as bad. ;)

Why are most of them over 50 and wearing multicolored Bermudas two sizes too small?

For the same reason lots of guys play wearing beat-up and battered muddy footwear, tweed trousers and Christmas jumpers under their ancient, faded MacGregor hat from the 80's?

Actually, at my club the women are quite serious. Follow the rules to a T and are better at keeping pace than some of the regular mens groups. I for 1 love playing our regular Sunday round with my wive and we vary between a dozen or so couples we play against.

My only problem with golf is that I am usually standing too close to the ball............ after I hit it.

Thank you for your participation, you scored 2/5, that's a 40% mark for your answers. I'll not tell you where you went wrong in case anyone else wants to have a go. I'll give two little tips...

1) You weren't even close to being Male Chauvinistic.

2) Funny but not funny enough.

Everyone is allowed two goes at this competition.

1st Prize... Two 60 min. lessons from me

2nd Prize... Four 60 min. lessons from me.

No, because they would get worked.

Are Saturdays and Sundays a lady free zone?

No, but it is 90+% men.

Should they all play in Venus?

What the heck is Venus?

Do they really understand the concept of putting?

No they do not, and it makes no sense since it has nothing to do with power.

Why are most of them over 50 and wearing multicolored Bermudas two sizes too small?

Most are over 50 wearing brightly colored outfits that perfectly coordinate, sometimes with their clubs.

1) You were too serious and seemed angry.

2) Not smart or funny enough.

What part of my post did you think was intended to be funny?

Also curious, what sort of lessons is a 16.7 handicap giving?

    • Day 360: did some slow swings, looking for feels to get my hands forward without my hips moving super far forward.
    • Day 75 (15 Jul 25) - Wedge work today in the backyard.  Focused on setup and  dialing in on immediate target line point in front of club. This drill helps me to center on longer range targets for tee shots as well as approaches.
    • I still need to do my pieces better.  Still a little steep in the downswing. Hands could get better depth earlier in the backswing.  This shot started left of target and went left. Probably path was out, face was closed a lot.       At A5, it’s probably the best it’s been.  I need to feel more shallowing from A5 to A6. Hands need to go straight down and club needs to shallow. I need to turn. I am just way too closed here. Just trying to buy time to lower the arms. Everything stalls from time to time. Timing is highly variable. Not a big fan of the slight EE.  I am just hanging back at impact.

    • Well, on a "Bummer Note,"  I borrowed a Great Big Bertha driver, a 5 wood, and a 7 iron. I did not do very well but did shoot a 112 playing both right and left handed.   So, I decided to take a breather and play golf on my Play Station 5 and not play any real golf until the new set of clubs get her.  So, I will be back in  a week or so and bring everyone up to date.    Retired Old Man = Terry
