I was watching a practice session for the players with Tiger, and he had the ball resting still on a wedges face, he then swung the club up and over his head and back with the ball still stuck to the face??? super glue? just seems impossible..

Haven't you ever seen a person riding a skateboard and doing tricks?

Not sure about a golf club but I can do the same with a hockey stick and puck (or road hockey ball) pretty easily, however I imagine it is a lot harder with a golf club and ball but still possible.  Its just centripetal force.

Exactly.  All you have to do is make sure the face of the club is always to the "outside" of the ball.  Easy to understand, however, extremely difficult (I would imagine, haven't tried) to do.

Maybe i just have unsteady hands... Just seems extremely keep the dimple of the ball perfectly on the face while doing a wild swing over your head...
