I have been playing for 30+ years and have always worn a watch, never had one break yet.

I never wore a watch on the course. I got an approach s1 for xmas and after 10 rounds I feel lost without it. Wearing the watch didn't affect my swing and after couple of rounds I feel off without it.

One of my highlights as a golfer for sure.  Getting a golf lesson from Calvin Peete in the 70's was pretty cool too.  Now if I could just get a hole in one...

I never wear a watch for keeping time, and I don't think I'd adjust easily to a GPS watch.  I have a belt mounted GPS that provides easy enough access for me.
